By using Playvent, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Playvent provides tools for event planning, including invitations, RSVP coordination, and reminders.

3. Acceptable Use

You will only invite contacts who have a legitimate relationship to the event, and you will respect recipient privacy and preferences.

4. SMS Messaging & Consent

How You Consent

You provide consent to receive SMS messages from Playvent through:

• Initiating Conversation: Sending any SMS to our number (e.g., "CREATE event", "HELP", or any question)
• Web Form: Entering your phone number on playvent.app during signup or event creation
• Event Invitations: Accepting an invitation to an event. The first message you receive will ask you to reply YES to receive additional event-related messages (updates, reminders, etc.)

AI-Powered Service

IMPORTANT: Playvent uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to provide conversational event planning assistance. When you interact with Playvent via SMS, you will receive both AI-generated responses and automated notifications.

AI Disclosure: Upon your first interaction, you will receive a welcome message informing you that you are communicating with an AI assistant. Some responses are AI-generated while others are automated notifications based on your event activity.

Message Types

You will receive the following types of SMS messages:

• AI Conversational Responses: AI-generated replies to your questions and commands about event planning
• Event Invitations: Notifications when someone invites you to an event
• RSVP Confirmations: Automated confirmations of your event attendance
• Event Updates & Reminders: Automated notifications about upcoming events
• Personal Reminders: Reminders you've created via text or the app
• Venue Suggestions: AI-powered recommendations for event locations

Message frequency varies based on your event activity, questions, and preferences.

Message Content

SMS messages may include:

• Embedded Links: Links to event pages, RSVP forms, venue information, and our Terms/Privacy Policy
• Phone Numbers: Contact information for support, event organizers, and venue recommendations

Consent is Optional

Your consent to receive SMS messages is not required to use Playvent or make any purchase. SMS messaging is an optional feature to enhance your event planning experience.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance or to learn more about our SMS service.

SMS Fees

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Playvent does not charge fees for SMS, but your carrier may. Msg & data rates may apply.

Data Processing

Your SMS messages are processed by:

• SMS Delivery Platform: Message delivery service
• AI Processing Service: Message analysis to understand and respond to your messages
• Playvent: Event management and coordination
